Last Thursday I headed off for the small wedding of Sian and Paul at the Glen-Yr-Afon Hotel in Usk. It was really wet as I left and I felt despondent thinking most of my photos would be in indoors. By the time I got to Usk it was dry and sunny 🙂 To my utter delight, the happy couple had even arranged an outdoor ceremony! I do regular weddings at the Glen-Yr-Afon … and this was the first time I’d photographed a wedding there outdoors!
Paul was seeing the registrars when I arrived so I waited out the front for the bride to arrive. Sian arrived in a blue & white Rolls Royce Silver Spirit by South Wales Wedding Cars. Her sister Rhian was the bridesmaid and walked down with her mum. Sian followed walking arm in arm with her lovely dad. It was a beautiful afternoon (albeit a tad breezy) and the location was perfect. Within no time, Sian and Paul were pronounced husband and wife!
We had a lovely time having fun taking photos. I then left the newlyweds to enjoy the rest of their day. This was a very short wedding for me. Sian & Paul have another big wedding party this weekend down in Cornwall where they live.
