Hi … I’m Tania. Just a little bit of info about me: I am an experienced wedding, family and newborn photographer and have been photographing these and many other events for over 20 years. I am very much a ‘people person’ and tend to specialise more in family type events. I adore babies and children (including fur-babies!) and generally people of all ages. I consider it incredibly important to document our families and loved ones. It’s such a valuable investment and precious photos become part of our family history.
If you have any special occasion coming up that you would like recorded for prosperity, I am happy to oblige! Being freelance means I am not tied to a studio. I do however have an in-home studio for my maternity, newborn & smaller sessions. Being a local gal, I’m very familiar with local beauty spots for any outdoor photo-sessions (weather permitting of course!) 😉
I am originally from Blackwood, South Wales but moved to Somerset at 18 where I lived for many years. I studied photography in the late 90’s in Somerset. With my own two girls grown up and living in Mid Wales, I moved back in 2015 to be nearer the rest of my family. My youngest daughter is also a professional photographer – Sabina Kinghorn Photography. We occasionally work together should any of our couples require a second wedding photographer.
I have a home/studio in New Inn, Pontypool where I conduct my maternity, newborn and smaller photo-sessions.

Awards & Training
I have been a qualified first-aider for over 20 years and have kept up my re-training every three years. If you book me for your wedding, you’ll know you have a fist-aider there. I have done paediatric first-aid training for dealing with your newborn precious bundles!
November 2017:
I was recently a finalist in the Caerphilly Business Forum Awards held at Llechwen Hall for:

April 2018:
The week before last I was busy photographing the 2018 award ceremony for the local Best of Torfaen business winners and was very unexpectedly presented with my own award as I had come third in the country across the ‘Best of’ groups in the category of Photographers! 🙂
May 2024:
