Wedding of Helena & Bradley at Bedwellty House, Tredegar

Last week I had the immense pleasure of documenting the wedding of Helena and Bradley at Bedwellty House, Tredegar.  As the venue has no accommodation, the couple stayed the night before at the Tredegar Arms Hotel just up the road.  This is where I met Helena who was almost ready by the time I arrived.  Having dropped Helena & Brad’s two boys off with their dad, mum Ilaria then arrived along with bridesmaid and best friend Shannon.  Once ready, we made our way down Morgan Street to Bedwellty House which is literally just down the road.  It was a beautiful Autumn day with the trees turning a golden colour. Helena herself was a little head-turner in her beautiful gown with passers-by delighted to see a bride walking down the street 🙂  Once we arrived, family and friends were then seated in the ceremony room whilst Helena met with the registrars.

Ilaria walked her daughter down the aisle to her waiting husband-to-be.  It was a lovely ceremony with son Eli playing the very important role of ring-bearer. Within a short time we were back outside in the glorious sunshine for photos.  The grounds of Bedwellty house are beautiful and a great backdrop for wedding pics.  Helena’s grandparents had come all the way from Florence in Italy to celebrate with them.  Helena and Bradley are huge fans of the video game ‘League of Legends’ so the whole wedding was based on this theme. Helena is a very creative young lady and had made Kindred masks for everyone along with various other wedding accessories.  Her aunt had made the beautiful cake which had a League of Legends Cake Topper (also made by Helena)!

After lots of lovely photos in the grounds, everyone sat down to a delicious three-course meal. Later, after the cutting of the cake etc, the evening kicked off with resident DJ Patrick organising the music.  Unbeknown to me, Helena and Bradley had secretly been rehearsing their first dance!  It was a fab song called ‘League of Legends Never Die’ from the game – and everyone was thrilled to watch them dance.  It was a fabulous day which flew by so quickly.  Hopefully, we will have captured some lovely memories that they will be able to cherish going forward.  I hope you will enjoy looking through a small selection of their photos below.

Congratulations Helena and Brad … wishing both you and your precious boys much happiness for the future 🙂
