On 27th August I travelled a short distance from my home for the wedding of Barbara and Chris. I met up with Chris who was greeting arriving guests outside St Gabriel’s Church in Old Cwmbran. Joining him were his four gorgeous grand-daughters who were all bridesmaids and dressed in long dusky pink dresses.
With Chris and guests inside, Barbara arrived in a big white Mercedes S Class from J2 Luxury Transport. She looked absolutely fabulous in her stunning gown from Perfection Bridal in Cardiff. She was carrying a blush pink rose bouquet from Maria’s Flowers, Cwmbran. It was a lovely ceremony and Barbara and Chris were soon pronounced husband and wife! After some photos on the steps of the church outside, we all headed off to the reception venue.
We arrived at The Old Barn Inn, Newport to find tables and chairs set up outdoors in the sunshine. Drinks were being served to friends and family. It was a beautiful afternoon and perfect for being out in the fresh air. We were shown the layout of the room which looked fabulous. With photos taken, the happy couple and guests were invited indoors for their three-course meal. Later, with cutting of the cake and speeches complete, I left the happy newlyweds to enjoy the rest of their evening.
