Last Saturday, I was really looking forward to the Pontypool wedding of Susan & Mark. Bride Sue was heading off early to the salon with her MOH Kerry and mum Maureen. I was meeting the girls back at Kerry’s home in Cwmffrwdoer and was waiting for them as they all arrived back looking very glam! We were joined by two of the bridesmaids Pauline and Holly. The gorgeous flowers were delivered by Petals Florist, Abersychan. Susan was helped into her beautiful gown by Kerry as we were advised that her white Rolls Royce had arrived. We all then made our way to the Pontypool Registry Office.
Mark was waiting patiently with his Best Man and groomsmen (one being Susan’s son!) I was impressed by the fact the boys were all wearing flat caps! It was a lovely ceremony and after signing the register, we headed across the road into Pontypool Park. It was just starting to rain as we headed up to the Cwmffwrdoer Sports Club where Sue & Mark were holding their afternoon reception.
In the evening there was a change of venue to the Pontnewynydd Cricket Club where the newlyweds greeted additional evening guests. Entertainment was being provided by The Revamps – a local band. After cutting, the cake, Sue & Mark hd their first dance and mingled with guests before their evening buffet and enjoying the band.
After 12 years together, this lovely couple are finally husband and wife! Congratulations you guys … I hope you enjoy looking through a small selection of your photos below: 🙂
