Last Thursday (1st August), I headed to Usk for the wedding of Jennifer and Chris at The Glen-Yr-Afon Hotel. Jen and Chris have been together for 15 years and have a beautiful little boy called Eddie. They therefore chose a small, intimate wedding joined by just very close family. The ceremony was at 4pm but I arrived before 3.30pm to set up and meet the guests. It was a beautiful afternoon and we were blessed with great weather. Jennifer looked stunning as she descended the stairs. She and groom Chris had chosen to walk into the iconic library room together.
After a lovely ceremony and welcome drinks, we headed out into the sunshine for photos. Weddings are a fab occasion to capture members of the family together when everyone looks so smart and glamorous! Life is so busy and we don’t always see as much of our loved ones as we would like.
We took some lovely photos in the grounds of the hotel plus the cutting of the cake. I left the family to relax and enjoy their sit-down meal being served at 6.30pm. I know Jen and Chris have just returned from a little mini-moon! Congratulations you two on becoming husband and wife…. wishing you (and little Eddie) every future happiness 🙂
