Last Saturday I headed off to Coed-Y-Paen for the wedding of Courtney and Levi. They were marrying in the liitle church (called Christchurch) in the village, next door to the Carpenters Arms. It was a beautiful day. Levi, their son Kyros and the best man were already eagerly waiting and entered the cool of the church to wait for the bride’s arrival. The four bridesmaids arrived together in beautiful dusky pink long dresses. Minutes later, Courtney, her dad and daughter Faye rounded the corner in the beautiful white Rolls Royce by Windsor Wedding Car Hire. Courtney looked absolutely stunning in her gown from The Bridal Lounge in Pontypool.
Courtney walked down the aisle to music played by Dave Colebourn, Saxophonist. It was a lovely ceremony conducted by Bill the local vicar. Once they were legally wed, Bill presented Courtney and Levi with a candle, He reminded them to light it on each following wedding anniversary! We were then back out into the beautiful sunshine for group and family photos.
The wedding party then headed off down the M4 to the reception. This was being held at The Old Barn Inn, Newport. The hydrangeas at the front of the venue make for a stunning floral photo backdrop. We then headed off to the garden area at the bottom of the car park for more photos. Besides Courtney & Levi’s own two children, there were about a dozen other gorgeous little ones at this wedding. I adore kids – they are so much fun to observe – and have no hesitation in making friends with other children.
Once the wedding party were invited in for their meal, it was time to take my departure. It was a lovely few hours documenting this gorgeous family. Congratulations Courtney and Levi … wishing you both every happiness for the future 🙂
