Last Saturday I had the pleasure of documenting the wedding of Cerys and Steve at the Parkway Hotel, Cwmbran. When I arrived, Steve and many of the guests were outside in the glorious, late morning sunshine. I went up to meet Cerys and her bridesmaids in her bridal suite. There was lots of activity with the girls all busy getting ready! The ceremony was at 1pm and Cerys looked stunning in her gown and the bridesmaids in their sage green long dresses. They all carried beautiful bouquets by O’Hara Floral Design based in Newbridge.
The ceremony commenced at 1pm with Cerys’s son Tom walking both grandma’s down the aisle! They were followed by the bridesmaids, Cerys and her dad and Matron of Honour Leanne – Cerys’s lovely sister! During the signing of the register, Cerys’s friend Jo entertained the guests by playing the bugle horn … first time I’ve seen that at a wedding! After celebration drinks, we were soon back out into the bright sunshine for mingling and photos. The wedding party later enjoyed a lovely three-course meal with speeches by Steve, father of the bride John and best man Liam. Friend Beth made the fabulous three-tier ‘naked’ cake.
