Last weekend, I travelled to Tenbury Wells for the wedding of Hannah and Isaac. This lovely, quirky couple actually married in the midst of the pandemic in October 2020. They were delighted to finally be able to hold their wedding celebration with friends and family – almost two years later! As this was outside of my normal catchment area, I hadn’t photographed before at The Barn at Dinthill. When I arrived, I could see people milling around amongst the tents. Down in the far corner was a big yurt … which was where our lovely couple were getting ready. Guests who hadn’t stayed over, were also beginning to arrive.
As Hannah and Isaac were already legally married, they had two friends perform their ‘ceremony’ and vows for them. It was a joyous occasion with lots of clapping! We headed back outdoors for photos and took advantage of a big red tractor which we hijacked as a photo-prop! The Barn looked lovely all lit up with fairy lights. I was astonished to learn from Isaac that his very clever craftsman dad had made their cake-cutting knife (with original wedding date) plus their wedding rings! After speeches and cutting of the cake, I left the happy revellers to enjoy the rest of their evening.
Hannah and Isaac … I wish you every continued happiness in your married life. So pleased you finally got to have your long awaited knees-up – and hope your photos bring back happy memories in the years ahead! 🙂
